“Westron Wynde” is an anonymous 16th-century song that became the basis for some of England’s most glorious Renaissance Masses. Jouyssance will present John Taverner’s setting, plus some of the best Medieval and Renaissance music the British Isles ever produced. Featured will be Magnificats and motets by William Byrd, Robert Parsons, Robert Fayrfax, Leonel Power, and others.
